HONEYCOMBS is an interactive installation that transforms an ordinary public space into a dynamic environment where visitors can engage through movement, light, color, and sound.
The project combines the qualities of a public artwork, an interactive playground, an architectural feature, and a technology-driven attraction. Rather than simply observing the installation, visitors actively participate in the experience by stepping onto illuminated elements, triggering audiovisual effects, creating their own patterns of interaction, and engaging with others.
By day, HONEYCOMBS presents itself as a contemporary geometric landscape. After sunset, it becomes a vibrant illuminated destination that attracts attention from across the site.
MOVEMENT AS INTERACTION
At the core of the installation is a field of interactive modules designed to respond to visitor activity.
Each element detects pressure and can activate:
- color transformations;
- dynamic lighting effects;
- synchronized audio responses.
The interaction is simple and intuitive. A single step is enough to activate the system and generate an immediate response from the environment.
The platform supports individual exploration, collaborative play, educational programs, competitions, branded experiences, and programmed light performances.

MODULAR CONFIGURATION
HONEYCOMBS is based on a modular construction system that can be adapted to the dimensions, geometry, and operational requirements of a specific project.
In the presented configuration, the installation consists of 55 interactive elements. Each module features its own RGB lighting system and responds individually to visitor interaction.
The standard module size in this configuration is 500 × 500 mm. Alternative versions measuring 400 × 400 mm and other custom dimensions can also be produced.
The overall platform dimensions may vary depending on the number of interactive elements, the layout geometry, the intended use scenario, and site conditions.
For large-scale installations, the system can be assembled directly on-site, allowing the creation of extensive compositions tailored to a specific location.
Compact configurations, such as 2350 × 2350 mm, are also available and can be delivered preassembled for faster installation.
SAFETY AND DURABILITY
The installation is engineered for intensive public use and high visitor traffic.
Depending on project requirements, the structure may incorporate:
